    Default headunit issue

    i know this is a long shot, i just got my new car last night and i put in a cd today and it was a no go, not sure if anyone here is good with headunit errors? my DEH-7250SD in my new car says Error 12 once i put an an mp3 cd in

    dose it have a manual in the glove box for the head unit? maybe it just dosent like your 'back up' mp3 cd's haha

    "dirty disc, scratched disc, elecrical or mechanical failure"

    Solution:

    "Clean disc, Replace disk, Turn the ignition switch Off the back On or switch to a different source then back to CD player"

    Honestly id just pull it out and get a new one, the DEH-7250SD is a ok unit but there is so many head units out there that are on par for not much coin.

    Then again, if you can find a quick fix that will cost less...hopefuly

    well i just made the disc this morning so i think its ok ? il try another tonight, seems like a great headunit compared to the one in my hachi but if worst comes to worst il be a tight arse n use usb

    try a normal bought CD.

    ive had mp3 cd's not work but normal CD's work

    also sometimes depends on how fast you burn them etc.
