    Default Wilwood brake kits

I have been tossing up between doing the FC brake conversion and a wilwood kit. i am starting to lean toward the wilwoods but can only find one site that sells an AE86 kit ( ) and was wondering if people know of others. Basically want to be sure that the kit will clear my 15x8 superlites and wondered if anyone has got some from this company. also another question is pads, when they need replacing do you have to get the wilwood ones or are there any other that will fit? I just reckon it will be a pain if they are hard to source or need to come from the states each time you need a new set.

The fastbrakes kit is the t3 kit. Pads are easy to source for the wilwood calipers, and they are a nice lightweight design compared to the rx7 ones

    And the disk is bigger...
Would do the Wilwoods over Rx7. new parts.. works out cheaper.. and its a better setup..
Some things about the wilwood kit I didn't fancy to much but you can't argue for the price...
Even Cheaper now with our awesome Aus dollar.

The brake lines I feel are a little ordinary..
And the fact that to join the line into the caliper its only a 90deg NPT fitting.

Most everything else is well worth the money.

    not the rotors!

they are easy the worst cast job ive ever seen. and they wear so incredibly fast to! which wouldnt be so bad if there was an oem disk you could get in australia but you cant!

also wilwood calipers are made for circle track racing and when the pads wear the pistons have a tendancy to cock off to one side and not retract this is just what i have experianced so most serious racers go brembo ap or alcon etc over wilwood

Yeah the braklines are a little ordinary.Dave/Mr Awesome actually cracked the fitting to the body hardline during the week with fuck all pressure! Im actually getting a set made to screw straight in with no adapter fittings, and will be ADR Approved too.

And the alcons/brembos have the additional pricetag to go with them. Unless you runa S13 front end where GTR brembos are cheaper, but still alot more than the Wilwood calipers are. I think they're more than adequite for 90% of people on here. Im super happy with my kit and the price I paid for them.

Im currently working on that with Joel from spirited drive, will be a OEM slotted/dimpled Rotor slightly modified, but will be a damn sight cheaper than replacements from T3.
