ive done it countless times on the same car and done it on customers cars at work and NEVER had any problems at all.

i once ran a frontera v6 for 40mins on straight diesel and it was perfectly fine. that was after the customer drove 6kms with the oil light on and 300ml of oil in the sump. engine hadnt had an oil change for 60000kms...after 40mins on diesel and then 5lt of oil it was fine, customer still comes in to this day with the same car and engine

By seeing my cams I was meaning...can I do this even when there isn't so much oil gunk in my head, such as Eircamae86...but good to know its a process not only used for severe applications..

BTW, it's not that I dont have faith in the Diesel thing, it's just a lot of people this way dont do it, that's all. If it works, then hell yea ! more power to ya. I'm always down for the cheapest and simplest ways of doing things.

Me personally though, I would another motor on stand by.

Ooops, forgot to post the after pic, Its Ok ,most of it is gone bar the really burnt on stuff which aint goin anywhere, car drives fine, no rattles! that was with 2 quick flushes.
That was with White (pump/auto), I wonder if agri/industrial is any better? More acidic?
New oil/filter & away we go until the clutch starts slipping like a bastard at the top of the road. Agh well, its all good fun?
New exedy HD by the weekend, maybe.

    Ignoring the cost.

For flushing an engine what's better... a specifically designed flush like the Wynn's one or using diesel as oil.

I've heard some bad stories about diesel, yet so many people do it.
