    Hey guys

    After long debate I think i’ve finally come to accept that I need to sell my Trueno. I bought this in mid 2008 as a fresh import from Adelaide and got it sent to Sydney with myself being the only registered owner in Australia. During my time of ownership it hasn’t been easy! As I never personally inspected the car I didn’t know what to expect apart from a few details on a bad inspection report. Once the car was in my property I had a lot of work to do. I have restored and improved a number of issues it came with.

    Engine

    Originally the motor was running on 3 cylinders so out that came and another smallport was dropped in, after roughly 15,000kms the timing belt tensioner snapped which led me to decision to rebuild the entire motor knowing that this would eliminate future issues. All parts used are top quality and work was done by Sprinterman. As well as a new battery as of last month and reconditioned alternator.

    Suspension

    The suspension when I received the car was terrible in a way that the front struts seemed like that had collapsed which is when I replaced them with custom coilovers with Cusco camber plates. For the rear I have used TRD Blue shocks with TRD 6kg springs. I have also added the following brand new AJPS items, Pan hard rod, traction brackets and RCAs.

    Differential and Gearbox

    Upon inspection of the diff it was found that the crown and pinion wheel were mashed into each other which caused an unbearable noise from the rear. I sourced a TRD 2way diff which was installed by Craft Differential which is running great and is tight although produces low level of noise at high speeds. Recently I have discovered a rattle coming from the gearbox which I will be having inspected prior to sale and if necessary replace the gearbox. Exedy clutch only has 8,000kms

    Exterior/Interior

    The exterior is a slight downfall of this car as there are a number of scratches, although the body is very straight with only a few small dents on the drivers side. The front of the car needs a repair on the radiator support and the bonnet will need to be painted I could have this done but obviously the price will be raised. I have bought brand new lights for the front end including indicators, parkers, side indicators and eyelids which may be included in sale depending on the price. The interior is complete and is clean for a car this old and is complete with rear seats and carpets and uncracked dash with dash mat to keep it that way. Driver’s seat is a TRD reclining bucket seat.

    I know that this is a very large post but I am trying to include everything so that it will limit the number of questions needed to be asked. I am in no rush at all to sell this as I really don’t want to but as i’m at uni full time this year again I can no longer afford it and need something more practical. I won’t sell this to just anyone though because I really don’t want to let it go or see it wrapped around a pole as a lot of time and money has been put into it. If your looking for a clean streeter with track work in mind this is perfect all it needs is a aftermarket computer to get the very most out of the motor.

    haha thanks mate, yeah it is very hard to sell this and I definitely don't want to but I think its gotta be done

    lol ive been looking at shells for the past 4 months and every time i go to apply for a loan the shell gets snapped up, i almost have my license back now and could not be fucked rebuilding things as i do not have the knowlede or cash to rebuild so im thinking of buying something streight and clean sell my old parts minus engine and gearbox
