they are copper and they work fine. never had a problem with them. i also use bkr6e gapped to .7 for sr20det`s too.
either that or bosch fr7dcx or fr8dcx. which is what a bkr6e-11 will cross reference too
i just prefer using ngk tho

personal situation Copper or Iridium?
Ok guys,
Deciding on what plugs I should use on the small port. Currently have NGK Platinuums for daily usage but want to go Copper plugs for track but am unsure of which ones; just know that I need them with a 1.1mm gap and one with a suitable heat range. Anyone got any part-numbers?
What do you guys use? What motor? Experiences (daily/track)?

the ngk BKR6EIX-11 are iridium tip plug. is the bkr6e-11 the copper equivilent?
Yeah, the IX in the part code means Iridium. No subsequent letters means no specific treatment.
I use to run 6 heatrange ngk's (iridums) figuring they saw a lot of high rpm/heat and would be helpful, but the deposits wouldn't get burned off on my stock 4ag. Switched back to BCPR5EY-11 (NGK V-power coppers) which are both cheap, available & good.
Andrew
i had iridiums before thinking they were better, but the NGK copper ones are fine and just change them regularly and its fine. plus they are cheap at about $20 for 4..
man they should be cheaper than that. if you can get them at trade they are less than $2 for 1 plug
Thanks for the input guys!
Looks like I'll be after a set of BCPR5EY-11 then!
NGK are not less than $2 for each plug at trade... infact at any discount i doubt you could get them for that price
if your serious, put up an invoice..
cheers
was getting them at 19inc for a box of ten. every time i changed plugs cost me a whole $7.50
for bosch was paying a bit more an getting them at 22inc for a box of ten. the only reason we used bosch is cause the boss got extra points on his capricorn account
these prices were thru capricorn.
and id love to show you an invoice but currently im living in japan so abit difficult atm. however if your a member of coventrys you should be able to see there list price for bosch plugs on their website.
