Marques is coming up again this year. These details are from the CCG (canberra Celica Group) noticeboard. It would be great to get a good turnout of AE86's this year, as there are a few more about now. Remember, it doesn't have to be a show car, just a classic Toyota, and it's free.
If you dont know it, the details are as follows:

Date: 21st November 2010
Start time:
8.00 - 9.00 am Meet at the futsal Stadium, Barrine Dr,
Action Park, next to Commonwealth Avenue Bridge
9.00 am - Cruise, to John Knight Park, Belconnen
10.00 - 3.00 Kick back and relax
Location: John Knight Memorial Park, Belconnen ACT.

Marques in the Park is the Council of ACT Motor Clubs spring time motoring event hosted by the Canberra Region Morris Minor Club and supported by Shannons Insurance and SOS Recruitment. Each November, hundreds of vehicle enthusaists join a post-breakfast cruise to John Knight Memorial Park to enjoy at day in the shade on the shores of Lake Ginninderra in Belconnen.
All vehicle enthusiasts and vehicle types are invited to participate in this FREE event well supported local motoring clubs. In 2007, over 700 vehicles were on display from Veteran and Vintage motorcars to the latest Ford FPV GT's and Suzuki Swifts.

Event Details:
Remember this event is for everybody, clubs and individuals from: Young to Old, People and Cars, Bog stock to Hot Rod, Primer to Polished, Street Cars to Street Machines, Rusty to Restored, Hacks to Show Cars, Hot 4's to Big Block V8's, and maybe V10's or 12's, Race cars, Drag cars, Rally cars, Speedway cars.
Trade Stalls and food will be at the park. We are still after event sponsors so if you have a business, or if you have any questions, please contact the Event Director. "

Just come with us (CCG/Toymods). Just meet with us at the above mentioned meeting point and time. You dont have to be a club member, just turn up and meet all the friendly guys..... If you come, that's 3 confirmed AE86's......

Been trying to decide who to go with, CCG/Toymods or Rollaclub. Been a member of the rollaclub forums pretty much since I got my first car and attended Marques with them last year, but it's not an extremely active club (in ACT) and I've done almost as much with CCG as I have with Rollaclub over the past year, so I might tag along with you guys.
Will have to spend a couple of days cleaning up my engine bay before so at least something on the car looks nice and shiny or else everyone will think mine car is the same as Jojos, just looks shitter.
Ok, Sloth, I will put you down as coming with CCG/Toymods..... It would be great to see your 86 there....
