Can you quickly drain the tank and try some fresh fuel. I know ae86 have a drain plug, i assume ke70 should aswell
Car - KE70
motor - 4AGE Bigport
use - Hindley laps
problem - Was running rough-ish, coughed and spluttered down my street. Stalled at the end of said street. Would not start again, turning over but no firing.
Took out spark plugs, all were black. Wire brushed them, checked gap which was fine. Refitted plugs and tried starting. Started but running just as rough as before and would not idle. Dam
Removed plugs again, cylinder 3 + 4 are black.
Got old plugs, wire brushed and regapped. Same again. Cylinder 3 + 4 black
Bought new plugs. Same again
I am 90% sure I have the leads in the correct firing order.
Now, the fuel in the tank is a good few months old. Could this present a problem?
My explanation probably isn't even that helpful
Anyone got any ideas, or any Adelaide people willing to have a look? Got me stumped
