Well I broke my engine the other night (did a bottom end bearing) and this seems like a good excuse for a rebuild.
I am currently running a stock JDM 4AGE 16v and I want to do it up so it can handle a little bit of boost, however I will be running it Naturally Aspirated for a while.
My question is: What are the differences between the JDM 4AGE and 4AGZE bottom end besides pistons?
Will I be able to run a 4AZGE bottom end with all my gear from the JDM 4AGE 16v? (head, throttle body, stock ECU, etc…)
Keep in mind that I will be running this naturally aspirated for a while, obviously components will have to change once I supercharge it.
Will I be able to bolt the 4AGZE bottom end onto my existing head without any dramas?
I am pretty new to these engines so any info would be appreciated.
