Default Trouble finding SSR MK3 wheel nuts? No tyre/wheel shop able to help so far.

These are my SSR MK3's. Got tyres wrapped on em.

But trouble is I have no wheel nuts and everywhere I've taken em to so far cannot help me (Jax, and other tyre fitters). Im probably looking in the wrong plcaes to go fit them.

What type of wheel nuts should I be asking for or does anyone know a shop/fitter I should go to, to do it all?

(Giving otomoto/speedy wheels NSW a ring now, as they list shank nuts and that may be what I need)

    Hey mate,

I had the same problem when I got my new wheels fitted (14 x 7 Hotwires) the standard wheel nuts wouldn't work I walked over to waitara (hornsby) auto one with one of my old nuts and the wheel and they had everything I needed

Give it a try and let us know how you go

You indeed will need shanked nuts. From memory, there isn't much available in Aus that fits inside SSRs snugly. Measure the ID of the holes and see if Nice Products have anything listed in their catalogue to suit.

I went to blairs tires and they fixed me up right away? Aren't they a standard taper?

    Nope, they're shanked.

I was able to pick up a heap of shanked nuts from a wrecker. Just go to where they pull the wheels off.

Pretty much. Mk I, II and III are all usually shanked, but you can occasionally get Mk II and III with standard tapers. They tend to vary depending on how old they are.

the newer wheels are different to the old ones. I just bought some ssr ones and they don't fit my mkIII's (they are newer wheels)
if I end up not needing mine I'll hit you up.
