hahaha thanks rob / plhol
^ and my bad delazy, i forgot you're going with the AE111 pump. You should (might) be sweet
Hhhmmm, weird...
16v belt fits atm running the ae111 pump/gear/tensioner...
Might leave it as it is and see how we go with the belt tension then...he might be wrong about that also???
Cant think/see any other variables that would cause the mismatch...
Fairly sure grantobius used a 16v belt aswell tho :s
20v 7ages are one hell of a headache lol

seriouse quality happening here.
again, i have to stop looking at this thread first thing in the morning! nothing like quality parts either, which reminds, wheretf is my arp stuff...
Yeh mines already together and perfectly fine mind you..i believe a slight amount of grinding on the oil pump for the tensioner to fit correctly was performed...engine builder and tuner were happy with the setup...
Only reason for concern and to change back to a ae101 pump/tensioner was bazdas belief the belt in such setup doesnt have enuff tension and is prone to jumping...
Mehhh...none the less i like everyone else view this thread regularly wanting more updates!!! So get shit moving on!!!
Btw would b sad to see this thing run on stock ecu...go aftermarket and get the most out of it, if not already planned!!!

Looking good man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been waiting for you to try the 16V pump and tensioner, hoping that I am not crazy and all my checking was in vain. I compared the pivot points on the 16V vs. 7A oil pump a hundred times trying to see how they were different, and you have confirmed they are not.
I made a new tensioner for the 7A pump with 16V belt because I already bought the fancy belt, any luck with a belt slightly longer?
Can't wait to see some results !!
Mine is sooo close,
If it helps I used this site to search through timing belts until I found one with the right number of teeth, width and checked the over all length. Pretty sure I did find a few 115 teeth ones but can't remember what car they were off.
