HAHAHA. Yeah man. About the only thing it's good at hunting is toys, and is .. well .. a little bit stupid for a cat, and very noisy.

And Todd, i'm waiting on a few (stupid!!!!) little parts that stop me from assembling the bottom-end AND the head. But hey, it could be worse

That guy Bazda can modify the crankshaft timing belt gear to allow you to use a 20V head and be timed properly?

Awesome build man. Please post up all you know about the 6 speed conversion! Very hard to find info on this stuff in the states. Envious of your car =)

Yep, he sure can, thats the thing i have. Money well spent - no mucking around with timing gears, and you can keep VVT

And i'll have loooooooads of photos and info very soon Grant, and i can give every dimension and detail of it, i documented the lot. Just been busy finishing uni and stuff

    Thanks for the kind words

What timing belt are you going to use for this? I found the 16V wouldn't reach on mine and am currently looking for something suitable.

I haven't got to that stage yet. What oil pump and tensioner did you use?

16v was perfectly fine with mine...

    running an ae111 pump/ae111 timing gear/ae111 tensioner...

im since changing back to ae101 gear to get more tension on the belt however...

would have been an expensive mistake if mine didnt fit considering i bought a toda belt hah

The oil pump I am using is one that came off a silvertop I had at home and the tensioner as well. I did notice when looking at this website it has the bigport internals although it says it can vary so I didn't worry about it. So now thinking it was a bigport oil pump since the belt won't fit, will get some photos as there must be differences externally as well then.
