Seal up in the radiator.
It could be a gasket somewhere thats putting water where it shouldnt be tho. But hey, its a 3tc itll probably run on crude oil if it had too.
latest (vary rare mind you) drama with the 3T occured the other night on the way home from syd to gong....
massive, massive flow of water over the road which i hit doing 90 odd. was like a scene from fuckin red october.
Started missing really bad, water poured out of the dizzy cap upon removal....
let it dry out for a couple of days, and got the rags n penetrene all over the half dozen electrical components/leads etc....\
Still has a consistent miss... drove it like that 240kms today. not too much fun. have no time off nor alternative transport for the next 8 days..
Is the timing just fucked maybe? Tips on adjustment>?
thanx guys.
so you managed to get water in the dizzy? did you suck up any water thru the motor too? pull the plugs and crank it over to check. if they a bit wet do a comp test and replace the plugs.
also you might have got water in a spark plug tube causing it to ark out
Best way to fix any missing 3T is valve bounce followed by a hefty clutch dump
