Yeah man I don't want used ones might as well go new. I'm going to start pulling apart the car some more today so I can prep it for painting I'll give ya a bell to come help me rip out the motor when you're free.

I got a price yesterday of $240 with Chromo rings from Pistons auto parts in Bayswater. Will buy them when I get paid. Dunno what brand the rings are though.

I threw the buckets and shims back in last night, cleaned up the bearing caps so I could read which way they went back in then just fitted the cams loosely.
I want to replace the stock inlet cam with just a 264 8.1mm does anyone know where I could purchase one from? Wouldn't mind a 264 for the exhaust too.

Didn't bother to clean up the cams as I will get rid of them.

I acquired 3 more bigports off Hitoriko 1 was setup for carbys in rwd with a 7 rib block, rwd water pump and alternator bracket so I've stripped that down so I can use the block.

Also the cams in there look as though they have a higher lift than the stock ones. I measured them with the vernier and they're about .5mm bigger than my stock bigport cams so I've put those into my head.

Here's a Picture of the cams in the Head they are a lot cleaner than my ones too.

Cheers man yeah I don't mind them I just wanted a complete matching set of dished wheels.
Its so hard to find complete sets everyone sells pairs and I hate having different sets of wheels unless I'm doing skids.

Even these 14x7 hotwire's took me ages to find and at $200 for the set including new caps and nuts and a bit of elbow grease I was pretty happy.

Hmm how soon you looking for it? I'll be heading up to Newcastle in February as my sis is having a baby.
I'm originally from Newcastle. Where abouts are you in Sydney I could prob drop it off to ya.

Can send you a video of it running and driving if you like?

So I pulled apart the 7 Rib block this arvo and was just having a read through that bill sherwoods 4AGE page turns out this block is a 7 rib big port. Its 7 rib with no oil squirters. Check out how much bigger the connecting rods and gudgeon pins are than the standard bigport.
Don't know if they are stock but these came off my carbied 4age I got off Hitoriko apparently it was in a ke30 race car.

Also got stuck into the car a little bit and ripped out all the door cards, kick panels and chrome trim around the windows.

Got stuck into the rolla more tonight ripped out the most of the interior. Seats, carpet, centre console, lower console and most of the dash.
Ripped off the chrome trims on the outside of the car gutters and got them off without ruining them.
Took off the headlights, grill, bumper, beaver panel and blinkers. Will upload some pictures tomorrow morning when I get to work. Can't wait to get the 4AGE in.
Going to paint the engine bay black then throw in the 4AGE and get it running so I can take it for a spin then have some incentive to get the rest of the car done.
