I'm looking at doing removing the booster on mine and a mates car, it's a fiddley job, need to choose the master based on brake piston bore sizes, you will have to go smaller master, so your pedal is not rock solid, but you will increase pedal travel, go bigger master and you get a harder pedal that needs less travel. make a plate to mount master to firewall etc, make an adjustable push rod, their is a thread floating round on toymods or rollaclub.

just boost it, so you can run a booster.

    See it makes sense.

    hey guys .

i did a formula ford day not long ago .. and it didnt have a booster for the brake .. not sure how relevant it would be, but i could not lock the brakes up even when i tried to purposely just to see how much force it would take. and these car only run 13inch semi slick (front rotors are solid almost paper thin, from memory the fronts are only 2pot calipers)

its a good mod for track cars because it gives you more brake pedal control rather then street car with a booster where you just dab the paddle and it almost instantly locks up .

Something wrong there then. You should always be able to lock up the wheels on a race car. If you cant then you arnt getting enough pressure to the calipers.

Or you just have weak legs.

I drove a turbo AE86 race car in an endurance race omce that was boosterless,
I could not lock the brakes at the end of the main straight yet one of the other drivers could,
I was just not used to it. i could still brake the car hard enough, but after a 2 1/2 hour stint i was buggered.
Luckily the session was quite wet otherwsie it would have been worse.

However i now run my race car boosterless as you get more feel and it is way better,
and i can lock brakes if I push it hard enough.
