Can i fill a T50 through the shifter hole?

As title states, i know it can be done with other gearboxes but not sure it can be done with EVERY gearbox.

Also i realise that the correct amount would have to be poured in as there would be no way to tell how empty/full it is.

Yes definitely, i fill every T50 this way. Fuck lying on the ground pumping the stuff in, just don't spill it on your carpet heh.

every t50 ive tried to fill thru the shifter hole has only ever taken under 1 litre.

personally i wouldnt recommend it but if you do just take note of how much it takes

Yeah, just undo the filler plug on the gearbox and fill until oil starts coming out of the filler hole.

go for 1.7 litres if you have to do it that way. not 1.3
