keep the s14 its legal, beams in a ae86 by the time you most probs finish it properly you will be off yoiur P's and you will be able to get raped for it anyway

Stop thinkin. BEAMS IT.
Go the sr20 once u got ur full licence then put a standard s14 turbo kit on it. And get some injectors and get it remapped ive seen so many sr20de+t take a caining day in and day out. Thing is its a lil bit of a prick to do the oil drain u have to drill and tap yhe drain into the position were the turbo sr go u have to pull sump of and for oil feed u have to run it from the oil switch from the drivers side bit of work but cheaper in the long run hope this healps
Breams n/a is pretty tuff tho quads are like lesbian porn so good to watch and listn to
It Aint A Motor If It Aint A Rotor.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah i would much rather a beams but its just to much
my whole conversion cost lest then a beams motor and g-box

habeeb it !!
but seriously though. beams reqiures a lot of work, and if you are going to use the 6speed box, then even more work (cutting tunnel) is needed.
it depends on your lifestyle. i personally would just drop in a nice smallport 4age and then turbo it later on.
btw, when i used to live in aus, i could have sworn the rules for p-platers was "NO engine swaps"... has this changed in the last couple of years ??
anything that requires engineering is a no no for p platers. so your engine conversion idea will get your right royally screwed by the constabulary...
any PERFORMANCE increasing modification
