So when shit just got serious, it did
    coilovers are in and set
a few offset pictures, front had abouot 1.5cm spacer to clear the calipers, it should clear 10mm spacers so might have to shop for some
next thing to do is get some tires and put the brake upgrade in
shop for some bolt on flares
    ..until then

Ok so more of this talking bullshit and no pictures but heres what happened over this epic long arse weekend

Friday night, was talking about going out to Wakefield Raceway on Easter Monday, so my brother started shopping around for them cheap vouchers Wakefield had selling a few months back, and we found one for myself that was most likely a 'go'

SATURDAY, woke up, checked my bank account and i got paid 1 week in advance due to Easter break blah blah blah, first thing that hit me was i need tyres!! new grippy shit!
called up JAX tyres Liverpool, they had in stock so i told them to get 4x Bridgestones Re001 ready for me cause i'll be there within the hour
1hour later after stretching the tyres onto the rims, i went back to a mates place to put in all the things i had laying around
so jacked the car up and it was leaking coolent...the waterpump shat itself
so called up parts shop and brother and mate when to pick up the new waterpump while i started to strip out everything in the way of the waterpump
so since everything was out ready for the new waterpump, started working on the new slotted front rotors, pretty basic and was not trouble, out with the old and in with the new + new QFM pads
i didnt have rear slotted rotors to go in since i didnt have cash at the time, but i did have new pads to go in so out with the old and fucked around with the rear calipers and 1hour later the rears were in
during this time the new waterpump was in and sealed and left overnight to dry just to make sure
Threw the rims on for test fitment and yeah, thing poked from every direction, rears had not spacers and poked, front were an issue
Had like 15mm spacers to clear the calipers but the nuts holding the spacers + the standard studs didnt clear the wantanabes back face of the rim...easy fix? had to get more spacers the next day

SUNDAY, bought a new timing belt since we already had the old one off...what a fucking mistake this was
    bought 12mm spacers from autobarn
went back to mates place and screwed around with the spacers, wheels stuck out like a kunt, but was for track use so whatever
waterpump was in and set, timing belt went in, overall, we thought we had the timing right and it was late already, 8pm? so drove it back to my brothers
while driving there, car went from no noise to sounding like lifters being hit by a metal dildo and kept getting louder, was roughly a 20min drive
getting back to my brothers, he found the CA18 engine management manual PDF file and read that the valves could of been damaged since the timing was clearing out
stripped the whole front end of the engine bay again to get to the belt, did the timing belt again according to the PDF manual
cranked the bitch and it wouldnt start, fuck the looks on everyones face after almost 10hours of working on cars this could not be happening, i noted that i was low on fuel and that was most likely the cause
got 10L of fuel in and the bitch started, went for a quick drive down the street, hunting and limping around on ideal but was acting fine and smooth on acceleration all the way to redline, was good enough for me cause i was over the bloody thing! time. 1:40am

MONDAY, woke up 2 and half hours later picked up the gf and we heading out to Wakefield park
no dramas on the way there, got there signed in and started to bleed the brakes, 40min later the track was open and i had just finished bleeding my brakes in time and lined up to get out
1st session was good, no dramas, tyres scrubbed but was nothing major, got back to the pits all good, adjusted the dampers 3step stiffer, lipped the guard with a metal poll from a car jack
2nd session, car was amazing with them 3step more stiffness, no understeer, no over steer, brakes were amazing, car was going hard and showing no sign of failure
3rd session, set the dampers 3step stiffer again, went out, straight away noticed the car was more twitchy, first lap was a bit over the place and everything was happening so fast,
so coming to one of the turns at 110kmph, i nip the ripple strip and cause the car to come off balance, tyres lost grip and i was sideway, had the car on lock but with an open diff, the car ended half on the grass facing the other direction of on coming traffic, lucky save!! but white smoke was pouring from my bonnet on the right guard, my DC5R mate comes in and sees this and slams on his brakes and spins out only about 10m away from me, get back to the pits, open the bonnet and let it cooled off..
after inspection a heater hose popped at the rear of the motor, just above the gearbox...long story short, started working on this hose issue about 12:30pm, left Wakefield park with my starter motor disconnected about 5.30pm, got home close to 8pm with the starter motor sitting behind the driver seat lol

Tuesday, so called in sick for work since couldn't drive to work, plan was to put the start motor back in today, basically took longer then expected, but got it in after hour and a half, got lunch, came back, hand flared the guards so i can run the wantanabes on the streets......nah, still need more flaring or bolt on flares or even wide body kit to make it sit flush, so much poke =O

anyways, thats as simple as i'll make this update and will go through the cameras tonight see if i can upload a few pictures of Wakefield

AND a BIG thank you to JOHN L AKA REDSPRINTER AKA E30-86 AKA g2s AKA GARAGE 37 #1 for saving his ass. but thats what we do!

if anyone cares to hear my side you can read the below :

Thursday to Tuesday .. it was all about cars and getting them ready to go to wakefield.

    Friday
    -organized the trailer
-mate hooked us up with a tow car
    - Richard and Nev decide they wanted to go
    -start looking for tickets

    Saturday
    - 8.00am - Mates white civic broke down and needed help
    - 12.00am- Spent half the day fixing the civic / getting it started so he could drive home.
    - Then off to Ray’s house (at Lidcombe) to help him with is ae86 suspension
    - Richard got tyres for his watanabe
    - 1.00pm We all decide to go the Ray’s house to get the cars ready there .
    - We all got to rays house then Richards water pump blew.
    - So Richards car needed a new water pump. Nothing was open so off back down to my area to pick up a new waterpump.
    - Same time Richard was having fitment issues with the rims and sr20det brakes . needed spacers .
    - 6.30pm new water pump got installed . and the car was left there for the glue to set .
    - Then off to Penrith to pickup Richards Wakefield tickets
    - 3am picked up Wendy and friends from the city.
    - 4.00am went to sleep .

    Sunday
    - 8.30am to my rents house grab the lawn mower and Mowed the lawn .
    - At 11:00am back to Rays house to finish off the s13 .
    - We decide to replace the timing belt at the same time
    - Richard worked the brakes , new rotors installed , new caliper bolted on , new wheel spacer on . then spent most of the day stuffing around with the rear brakes.
    - Phouc started on the timing belt
    - I worked on the white civic finishing it off and getting it running
    - 3.00pm I come back to the timing belt , got told it the cam pulley jumped a tooth .
    - Stressed out I ask for a s13 workshop manual . and then get blank stares .
    - so richard at this point said just put it all on and start it .
    - first start up with new timing belt . failed .
    - Tare it down get the timing belt off . line the cam pulleys with oem casing timing marks
    - 2nd start with new timing belt . start runs .. idle ok .
    - 7.00pm bleed the brakes
    - Nev runs off to go pick up his ticket at west ryde
    - 8.00pm brakes and getting there
    - I run off home to go pick up the trailer for the mr2
    - 9.00pm I load the mr2 onto the trailer
    - 10.00pm Im on the lap top looking for a s13 workshop manual .
    - 10.30pm I find one and start reading and find out ca18de are interference motors
    - Richard not home yet . I call him and find out that the car runs like shit and making noises .
    - 11.00pm his back at my place – didn’t bring tools .. I read more and find out that if timing belt isn’t installed properly . valves and pistons could make contact . bad news
    - 11.30pm pickup tools. Tare down the motor . rip off the timing belt.
    - 12.00pm get told off by the neighbors. At this point I was told I looked like I was going to kill someone.
    - 1.30am car is done. Timing belt is install as per the manual . cars power is back .
    - 1.40am go to sleep.

    Monday
    - 4.00 am waked up , it’s raining and cold. load the van with tools and a jack and wheels . strap the car
    - 5.00am meet up with the boys at BP and off to Wakefield
    - 8.00am at Wakefield
    - 9.00am we get out onto our first session. Me the in aw11, Richard in the s13 , phuoc in the ae86 , and wendy in the e30 and another mate in a DC5
    - All goes well. Richard’s brake still feels spongy . so bleeds his brakes
    - 2.00pm everyone is not tired and lacking sleep.
    - Richard spins out on the track and a gets a leak.
    - Comes back into the pits and the leaks is from the back of motor.
    - Find out is a blown hose .
    - S13 back on stands. And we go looking for suitable hose
    - 3.00pm we get one fit it in but the hose clamps are no good . still leaking
    - 4.00pm find the right hose clamps off the aw11 . by this time we’ve had the hose off and on about 5 times . still leaking.
    - Wendy goes home with in the DC5
    - 5.00pm starter motor comes out and we see the problems.
    - 6.00pm loosing light and its fixed . drive home without the starter motor.
    - 9.00pm get home , have dinner
    - Buggered .
    - 10pm pickup wendy
    - Richard and rays sleeps over .
    - 10.30pm I go to sleep.

    Tuesday
    - Wake up at 11.00am
    - Go out to have breakfast with wendy
    - 12.00pm Richard wants to run his f**K off wide ass rims on the streets
    - So we flare his guards.,
    - 3.00 pm I take wendy to work
    - 3.30pm front and rear flares are almost done .
    - 6.00pm at the car wash
    - 7.00pm dinner
    - 10pm pick wendy up from work
    - 10.30pm go to sleep.

And with all that happening I managed a 1.21.8 around Wakefield in a stock mr2 with ratty old tyres.

Long and hard but a good weekend.

yup total fuck around and tonight will be taking a few fast pictures of this thing slammed on its crossmember before it goes up again and stays up to clear speed humps...and replacing clutch master cylinder as its leaking inside all over the clutch pedal o.O...fun fun fun!

my last lap before everything went wrong was a 1.22 hand timed..didnt bother figuring out if that was the fastest as there were more important things to think of...overall thanks for all the help
and will be doing more things in soon time when money comes back in =p, pics will be up tonight

    so this happened this morning

Cop: your wheels are sticking out of your wheel arches
    Me: yeah =p
Cop: im not going to defect you but you will get a $75 fine in the mail
    Me: sorry..no defect?
Cop: yes no defect just a fine
    Me: =D no worries

am feeling a little depressed over the situation but i know i am way lucky to just get a fine for basically just wasting the cops time for pulling me over for nothing...yeah that does make me feel a little better haha...bolt-on or hammer and dolly or wide body kit?

back to stock wheels after work today and the shopping starts
