is the pedal firm?
I have a JDM zenki trueno and the brakes are now really shit. I took it to a mechanic but he was useless, long story short it now has a working BMC/booster I bought off just jdm imports. But it still doesnt have any brakes. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
It brakes a really small amount not much.
Cheers Guys.

no pressure from the pedal when pushed. but its not like it just falls under its own weight

maybe there is still air in the system does it make a noise when you depress the pedal?
do you see any fluid leaking any where at all?
sound like air in the system ... bleed the brakes and get the calipers overhauled + brake line including hard lines and the stock brake bias cleaned , you wont believe how much dirt and grime there is (most likely it has never seen a rebuild for the last 20 odd years). our mate had the same problem in his 86 , we must of bled his brake like 5 times and went through 5 bottles ... it came down to just cleaning and overhauling the system .

The only noise I hear when I push the pedal is from the pads touching the disk. I try giving the system a clean.

Going to flush the lines after Christmas. Hopefully it works
