    Default I bought a ke70 wagon!

hey guys for no reason whatsoever I wanted to post that I bought a KE70 wagon.

    Piccy:

I want to do some basic long term mods to make it an economical and reliable daily driver. Nothing crazy just some select changes. But for now I have a decent amount of rust I need to start chopping out and rewelding up. I have never chopped and replaced metal in the side of a roof before so that will be interesting. I like and I think I am good at welding up new pannels to replaced damaged sections so I think I have some work cut out for me.

I also am thinking about an idea I have been pondering for some time; making a new set of steel slim-line bumpers, something that supprisingly has been done before that I know of

crap I was meant to put this in the general chat section, oh well

now drifTE72, I wont do much for now but I was thinking of putting in a lightly modded 7afe engine in rwd with a 4afc dizzy and running on a Gas research carb with a decent cold air intake and all the usual exhaust mods. Nothing crazy just some mods to make it nice overall to drive and use. Some of the light mods might be porting, match porting, shaved head for more compression, etc...

yeah thanks, I think I am the right person for it because almost everyone else would just scrap it because of the rust, and wagons are pretty rare compared to the sedans

so did I at first but then I thought this makes more practical sense to me. Ah it will be good to be able to cart heaps of shit around again like my trike. I will very likely make up an integrated tow ball hitch into the rear bumper if i make my own.

Hey check out how it came:

not that I cared, its all cleaned up now and I have already fixed a problem with the door latch. It will be a few months I think before I do anything to it because I need to get some stuff done.
