new ssr 14ich outers?

i'm in need of some, any word of where they can be sourced? turns out me wheel is beyond repair

hey mate dont know if this is any help but theres a place in sydney called retro wheels who build,restore 3 piece wheels mainly old simmons stuff but they might be able to help i dont have the number but search for RETRO WHEELS in mortdale/peakhurst i think its on roberts avenue,i know they deal with interstate people aswell

i checked a place exactly like that in melb who do simmons, the rims aren'/t able to be re-rolled and they can't source outers, might have to look to japan

i doubt ssr will actually make outers.

might just have to roll it and when it cracks just weld it up.

You may have to spin the old weld off, measure up, have lips made, rebuild it, then have someone weld the centres up. Fair chance you won't be able to get exactly the same profile but they should be able to make to the same measurements.

so would they machine up an outer to suit a specific wheel design?

or do they just have alot of blanks that the machine up to suit?

all ssr are welded that's why its a pain to widen them your better off making new outer and inner then you have genuine 3 piece wheels
