Default Went here on sunday. You might recognise it.

I've been living about an hour away from this place for the past twelve months, but haven't been bothered to search for it until last sunday.
Figured it might be of interest to AE86 guys.

If you haven't figured it out, it's the parking area from the Initial D anime series. Somewhat fittingly, a panda trueno drove past whilst we were parked taking pictures!

The real name of the mountain pass is Haruna. In the Anime, the mountain is called Akina. The first 'Haru' is changed to 'Aki'. Haru meaning spring and Aki meaning Autumn in Japanese.

    Pics taken with camera phone.

I made my way there when I was in Japan, was pretty neat.
I went all the way up to the lake also and had a bit of a walk around...
Thought it was pretty funny that some of the shops there were selling Initial D toys, but the boxes were all sun faded... hehe

The lake was frozen last weekend when we went there. Great touge.
