    Hey guys.

    Test and tune is on again soon at Willowbank.

    Ill be going out again the next Wednesday, 9th of March. Im going with a mate who has a datto 1600 with a ca18det. I just did some dyno tuning so Im keen to test it out.

    Be nice if there were more NA twin cam cars there as Timbo is off the road and he usually comes and races me.

    went down to Perth Motorplex on Wed night and this is my slip:

    Mine is an Ae71 with a Sr20det. Clutch is starting to slip and a bit of wheelspin at the start. This was also my first time on the track.

    Long sleeves and pants, covered shoes and an adr helmet required.

    Im going, so is my mate with his CA18det 1600. I think maybe a few others too.

    shoud be able to dip into the 12's, as mentioned earlier drop a couple of PSI out of your tyres, work on your launch and 60ft and you'll punching mid to high 12's easily.

    Good stuff man, what times did you run?

    Should stick a wet 50 shot of gas up its ass, just run a fat fuel jet to keep it away from det. Could run more, but I'm not going to tell you to do that

    Basically exact same times as last time, but with a better 60 footer. I have just had a retune and it makes a lot more midrange power but it peaks earlier, so although the 60 footer is 2.1 flat now Im still pulling the same ETs. That said it was a lot hotter, 22C and 80% humidity.

    The guy in the GTS 325 got a bit of a fright! makes me lol.

    see you need gas, you need more top end haha. Seriously though, you could easily drop .5 of your time with just a wet 50 shot. Gas is really good to help make torque, so it is well suited to little 4 bangas. That said if you do go that path ($800 for a simple kit) I know you probably wont, but if you do, just make sure you do some research on how to use it right, can do some serious damage if you don't.

    Ive considered it but Im not too fussed. This car is no fuss daily driver style. its not going to modified in anyway to really make a it a race car as such.
