    Question NSW - Stripped interior. Rules/issues?

    Hi Guys,

    Before you say it.....yes I did a search and yes I'm a newbie, so I probably missed it somewhere. Just wondering who in NSW runs no interior (AE/KE etc) and what the rules are. Is this a defect waiting to happen? Any issues? How far stripped can you go?

    Wanting to run;

    No carpet
    Maybe door cards
    No centre console
    No rear seat (think it's got to be re-engineered for this).
    Keeping Dash

    Cheers!

    basically its a no.
    it is a defectable offence, and you will need to present your car for a pink or blue slip. BUT being a 2dr car, its often a grey area. if you car was engineered as a 2 seater, then you wouldnt need the back seats but if its not, then your open to anal raping with no lube.

    i havent had most of my interior in my car no going on 4 years, but for the last 2.5 it hasnt been a daily driver and i have been pulled by johnny lawman but each time they werent too interested on the inside of the car.

    do it at your own risk id say....

    if anything take out back seat that's about it
    leave carpets, door cards, every side plastics, can take out center console but then its going to be even more ugly
    im going to say you will get done, but with just the above you might get away more then once, cause i know i have =D
    cant leave any exposed wires or anything electrical cause it can spark and start a fire...some excuses every time from a cop, but what they say is how it is until proven not guilty
    dose
