Default older 20v thread on power adders, including garage annex guide - where did it go?

Like the title says, about a year or two ago I remember coming across a thread with a lot of good 20v info on how to increase power and what to expect with various mods. There was also a segment with a translated guide of Garage Annex's various stages of upgrading.

Does anyone know what happened to it? I wasn't able to find it using the search bar.

    Thanks!

Thank you but I was after a translated page from garage annex's japanese page. They go through step by step, dyno plot after dyno plot of every little thing they did to make a monster 20v.

I would like to see that as well.

As for Garage Annex themself maybe it's just me but I don't see the point in getting any of their 20v products at all

Having owned most of (all) parts made by garage annex, i agree in some respects (the water block is really bulky - and their "fuel line" kit is dodgy as hell) - but disagree with everything else: The dizzy relocation kit is excellent, the water kit is good (and complete - i.e. you can turn a 20V into RWD config without the need for rummaging around for ANY spare parts), the throttle cable is good (fits standard 20V linkage and is the right length for an ae86), and their loom is at least as good as anything else i've seen.

So yeah basically, i understand you want to put down most/all japanese 20V conversion products to sway people towards your product/s, but their shit is good as hell (albeit, overpriced).

the reason I said what I do is because I see no need for the dizzy kit, the standard ecu can use coilpacks in conjunction with the original coil and an aftermarket ecu can obviously run anything, so I don't see how it can help. Tell me if I am missing something.

I can see how you misunderstand but look closer and you will find I am one of the most unbiast people around. I have no interest in downplaying any products for my own gain and I have freely said I much prefer the RS-Chita front water outlet over my own, if that's a sign of being unbiast then I don't know what is. Like all countries I think it's a mixed bag, some japanese products are great but many are serious compromises to make a true bolt on design. I say it as it is whether it upsets people or not, and even if it's at my own personal loss. With all that said the fabrication quality of the Garage Annex parts look outstanding.
