yea was thinking that of that as well, did you spray your bay yourself?
yea it sounds good but i was kinda after a flat colour rather then a metallic, due to the car being flat white, think it would look a bit odd. but will check it out and see what it looks like. yea metallic gun metal grey ketos look pretty good.
what you think of that???
(guessing your not interested in coil's anymore?)
hmm that does look good, will have to get some colour cards tomorrow and have a think.
yea had a think about it and think i should finish the engine conversion before i start buying suspension stuff.
Flat Grey I think will look tacky as shit will look like glossy primer don't think it will suit the white at all. I'd say either black or white. Black can be shit though cause it shows everything. That gun metal does look pretty awesome though.
But man all in all if you like Battleship grey and want it just do it man who cares what other people think its your car do what you want.
hmm you might be right, sort of leaning towards gun metal grey. yea that what i thought it would be like with the white, would show up all the dirt and grease.
got a fair amount of work done lately on the keto, mounted the steering rack on the crossmember with new prothane bushings, pulled the tank out and fitted the fuel pump and wires. completely stripped the bay of everything, ready to be cut back with steel wool. also painted engine mounts and crossmember bolts. still have to buy high fill and 2pac for the bay but that will happen some time this week. also does anyone have a 4age coil that there willing to sell? will get pics soon.

Had a long think about what colour i wanted to paint the bay and thought i would go the paint i wanted from the start, battleship grey
Also i had a look in the ports and the inlet manifold and there was heaps of black gunk in them not sure what to do, was thinking of just using a pipe cleaner and turps to clean it off, but i don't want it to fall into the engine. does anyone have any suggestions as to how to clean it out? has anyone had to clean this out before?
cheers guys
haha. Awesome! keen to see what it turns out like.
