Default Smashed madhouse lip :( Need ideas on how to fix it:)

Smashed my madhouse lip in halves and i was wondering what the best way to repair it would be. Home job styles
My dad had an idea to shove some mesh in there and use some fiberglass resin to pack it tight then fix the chunk missing with that to. Any help is much appreciated. Dont have pics on computer but imagine a madhouse lip for a ke70 smashed in halves. Can get pics if it will really help. Cheers Troy

your dads idea is pretty much the only way to fix it.

put the mesh on the inside, apply the resin. after it goes hard add bog over the top. sand back the bog to get it straight. prime, sand back primer and spray.

Get some small fairly solid strips of something (Plastic, metal whatever) Run them on the back across the spot where it's in half. Glass the strips on. Go get some fibre bog (Normall bog, but has fibreglass fibres in it), start hardcore laying that shit on in your cracks/split pieces. Or you can lay glass matting straight over the top of where it's fucked and just push it in. Keep doing that untill there's no hollows. Then go over the top with some more glass bog and then some normall bog and voilah, paint time.

That's how I've done mine and mine was in 6 pieces, only spot mine has re-cracked is from where the towie hooked on his cable and broke the lip again.

As as indication mine took me a full day just to prep it and get it back in one piece.

P.s: Don't do it dodgily cause it will show and will most probably re-crack.
