    Default 4AGZE wiring/loom same as 4AGE??

Ive tried searching around tech articles and google but cant find if eg. a 4AGE Bigport loom will suit a 4AGZE just curious what loom I need to run the 4AGZE and ECU.
Also if anyone knows how much it cost to get someone to custom make a loom and wire it up.
And one last thing can I use my 4age bigport extractors on a 4AGZE.

    Thanks Ray

    you need a 4agze loom for a 4agze.

    you need a 4agze ecu for a 4agze.

the N/A one will not work.........at all.

you can use the bigport extractors if you have a bigport GZE.

You extend the loom by cutting each and every wire and splicing in a piece of a length wire.

and if you're going to go to that much effort, you might as well just wire in an aftermarket ECU. 1 solder joint per wire as opposed to 2 for lengthening.

Yea I'm going through the process as we speak, using a AW11 bigport 4AGZE we've had to pretty much extend the whole loom. It sounds alot easier then it actually is, budget at least 15minutes per wire.. A day flies by pretty damn quick soldering in longer wires

Your bigport exhaust manifold should bolt right up though!

Yea its a nice engine when its in.. But like everyone says, budget a good 4-5k for an engine conversion.

My engine only cost $1600ish and I did all the work at home with my dad, still a good 2.5-3k to get the job done.

Exhaust ports are the same between bigport and smallport, so all 16V 4AGE exhaust manifolds are interchangable (20V has the same ports and most bolts, but just the outer two bolts are positioned slightly differently).

Also if you already have a 4AGE running then changing to ZE isn't that bad. Yes you need loom and ECU and intercooler work, but the fuel system is already in place and so on. I'd guess the above prices are based on 4AC - 4AGZE.
