    Default MIG/TIG combination welders

Has anyone had any experience with the combination mig/tig welders?

The main use would be for the mig on thin panel work but I like the idea of having the tig option for occasional Al pipework etc.

Has anyone used the Cig 175i above? Do you think i'd be wasting my money on something like that?

    Cheers.

The TIG function wont help you weld Aluminium pipework as it's DC only according to the brochure.
    Cheers.
