i used to be all harcore "i love ae86s" and shit... anywhoo, i made the move to a mid engined car that has just the right balance of comfort and pureness..... aw11 mr2.

i still have my trueno, but feel no need to drive such a car now.

although that said, a nice standard modern car would be nice.... im looking at a mitsubishi lan evo as im not a fan of crabwalking.

edit... those genesis are nice. good to see korean bringing nicer cars.
lol at white people in japan. just lol.

/\/\ they might end up with the circled T badge in aus like the previous Tiburon.

regardless, It's a bloody good move by hyundai, and will be one of the best bang for your buck new cars without a doubt. unless they manage to get the chassis all wrong...

hard to see how they'd go wrong though, similar layout as say... 200sx which went off sale half a decade ago. still more sought after than the 350Z. The brand will put some off... but....

2.0 turbo RWD coupe, hopefully light and cheap= winner. will sell. get ready to see assloads of these around if they are selling em here. there are enough tiburons, and they are FWD with average motors.

I like Bug Eye 2001 STI >> 2002-2005. But of the GD lineup 2006-2007 got it right. End of the day its still a WRX so... it's up to you stylewise it's like they took a step forward then 2 back, and with the new hatch took a wild jump 2008-2009. but the hatch seems to be making a comeback in many forms.

Speaking of Subaru and Toyota concept: would be cool if and when it happens... I'd get one for a daily
even tho it does look like a Focus

More like the latest Focus (and Mondeo) too many cars these days are looking alike

That Hyundai has biten the style of so many cars I don't where to start!
BMW Z4, Porsche Cayman, Nissan 350Z, Lexus IS-F to name a few... but still looks quite well proportioned, except for that rear window line is all wrong - should follow the doorline or body crease up.

I agree... Looks like there are a number of small similarities but as a whole it's pretty uniquely hyundai I think... As far as the rear window line - I think that's one of the better parts of the cars design. Didn't like it at first, but now I do.
