my keto never had anything break, had a flywheel come loose once, but bought new bolts and tightened it back up and that was it.
It had no rattles, no squeeks, it didnt bounce too much, wasnt too noisy, was quite comfy with mazda 6 seats, was great on fuel and handled the highways very well. Dont know what all you guys are complaining about, you either dont maintain your cars, drive them in a manner that just plain fingers them, or are just whiny.

meh i just want a daily as my only car at the moment is the trueno so i cant work on it as much as i would like, its kinda hard to do anything major when you need it that night or the next day

i will eventually sell my ke70. but not for a modern car. will b getting a bike. my missus has a 05 vectra that i drive all the time and its just too hard to maintain my ke70 and also build up my 86. just hope i dont get the bike bug too much and sell it all for an r1 or something that will kill me

My s14 shits all over an ae86 for daily driving and hard driving. Yes the ae86 is a slightly more involving but it's also slower and harder work and less consistent through the twisties.
One decision I made for the best was packing up with ae86s for good.
or your roads are better than ours. haha.
QLD roads are great compared to nsw ones.
dont know what other peoples reasons are but i live 40 minutes away from civilisation and do over 1000kms a week. fuck doing it in my old ae86.
i saw how low your ke was and it diddnt have much suspension travel. the road that i live on, when i used to drive it out my driveway my head used to hit my roof without my harness on.
Hopefully very soon my Evo 6.5 will be out of the compliance shop
