WTB: T-50 Speedo Drive Gear - 22T or 20T

Hey

Chewed my Speedo drive gear because the retainer plate broke off and Toyota needs 3 Weeks + $65!!

Someone with a dead T-50 either ADM or JDM must have one, I can adapt both ratios to suit my diff (4.3:1)

ADM is 20 Tooth to suit 6T worm gear ,

JDM is 22 Tooth and also 6T worm gear, I can work with either.

In Brisbane but cheap and easy to post.

Yea, if you read the post above, there are none in Australia = 3 weeks lead time and they are $65 :-|

I got a couple for sale, i'll have to check if i've got the right number of teeth but if I have the right one you can have it for $50,-

I have what you need but the actual gear is slightly worse for wear... it is a 22 6T gear. Some pics:

have you got any worm gears that fit the 5T speedo drive gears?

I don't have any 5T gears no.

I have sourced a gear from Bozu, thanks anyway for the help Chris

No I only got a 6 teeth worm gear, I do have a 19 teeth speedo drive that fits on a 5 teeth worm though

Yeah, near as I can figure it the T253 diff in my car has a final drive ratio of 1 : 4.556 so to correct the speedo I think I need a Speedo Driven gear with 23 teeth. Do you know which of the worm gears is physically bigger? - is it the 5 or the 6? because if I can work out which part number a 23 tooth driven gear is I might have a chance of getting one and correcting the speedo readout if I can get hold of the worm drive that fits...
