Yeah mine came from Newcastle and the salt air has rusted just about everything in the engine bay and under carriage.
I'd say don't go quads personally I'm not a fan I love the flat front with square headlights it looks tough me thinks.

Sorry if I steal your thread for a second but I just polished up some hot wires I found the easiest way is to buy a polishing pad that goes on your drill and a stick of cutting compound see left of wheel on the drill and cream stick.
Polish it with the drill then once its all shiny then use auto sol.
    Will be much quicker.

This was while I was doing them not finished.

Also here's a link to a good guide on if you have removable centre's or have pitted rims.

Found a fixed back bride. Just gotta get some money for it!

Been thinking a lot about wheels and im keen to get abit more poke again! Thinking either 13x7 -6 hayashi streets that are on buddyparts with some 13x7.5's on the rear or maybe some ssr mkIII's.

Just trying to make up my mind about 13's or 14's....

Finding decent tire's in a suitable size for 13's can be a bit rough. And you need to run the car quite low in order to make it look sensaish!. But i don't think you have a problem with going low...

When i look at Beau's wagon, it makes me love 13's.
