    Default Calling All Tech Guru's.

    Gda'y Lads.

    Help a brother out.

    Question No 1.

I have been searching for for some XT130 LCA's, havent been able to find any (no pick a part here in perth), sooo, i have done a bit of research and gather that, RA23 (Celica), RA28 (Celica), RA40 (Celica) and the RT132 (Corona) LCA's are all the EXACT same items. Is this true?

    Question No 2.

I have a KE70 with RA40 tie rod ends (New, with KE30 tubes), AE86 Coilovers, XT130 LCA's (Still looking), and i have to wait a few weeks for my AE86 PS arms to arrive, my question is, What would be some readily available STEERING ARMS that would fit temporarily?

Question No 3. (Three Part Question!)

The above mentioned AE86 coilovers have attached to them JDM VENTILATED BRAKES, my question is,(Part #1) will these bolt DIRECTLY up to the old brake lines?, and (Part #2), With the JDM VENTILATED BRAKES hooked up, What will the brake bias be like? (Stock BW Drum Brake Diff on the rear). And finally (Part #3), If the brake bias is shot, what has everyone done to fix this?

Thanks in advance to anyone taking there time to answer.

    Cheers
    Fletch

If you had searched you would have found this information.

    1. Yes (I think)
    2. Use AE86 Non Steering arms (like 30$)
    3. Yes. Fine. never done it, AE71/R32?

I did search for this information.
And i found plenty of answers like yours, With a big, I THINK or NEVER DONE IT tacked on the end.
And i was looking for some readily available steering arms (If i can't find XT or RT corona or RA celica parts i dont think i will be able to find AE86 parts).

Dont get me wrong, I'm not pulling the piss and i do appreciate your time, but i was just hoping that someone could give me some definative answers that could save me a few hundred bucks and a few days of chasing down and trying to fit the wrong parts.

    Cheers

    ok. ill try help.

you can find 86 non power steering arms on here pretty easy. most of the forums will have them floating around. cheap too

you dont need to upgrade your brake m/c with the jap brakes. fittings are all the same for the brake lines etc.

i know that ra40 and xt130 LCAs are the same, not too sure on the other ones though

i've got a spare pair of non ps arms and am in perth. im sure there are plenty of other guys in perth who have extras too.

the brake bias wont change because the calipers piston hasn't changed. adm and jdm piston diameters are the same.

I'll confirm RA40 and XT130 steering arms will fit and work.

Others that I think will (sorry not 100%) are A2 Celica.

Brake bias will be fine. The only difference between ADM and JDM calipers is the width and the ventilated discs running through them.
