fuel tank issues

hey all, mate has just bought a gz10 soarer, anyway it had been sitting in a shd for 9 years!!

so the fuel pump was royally fucked and the tank was full of shit, i installed a s13 ca18 turbo pump and it works a treat, we also cleaned the tank with all sorts of crazy chemicals and stuff,

any way theproblem is now iv cleaned the tank the shit thats dislodged in there has gotten caught in the pipe that gives fuel to the swirl pot, we have stuck all sorts of shit down there and it still wont fill up fast enough to feed the pump, so im wondering if its possible to whack a lift pump inside the tank and run a hose over into the swirl pot??

the idea works in my head but i want some confiration

None of us are going to know exactly what the tank looks like, but I would say fix the original problem, rather than making something new.

Get the tank out again and clean it more.

all done now

i got an efi pump and attched it o one of the baffles in the tank

now it feeds fuel over into the swirl pot


was impossible to clean it more without cutting the top out of the tank and rewelding it, and i really didnt wanna do that


i got the car going though which is a plus
