    thats the one

mates got one in his 180sx, piggy back ecu type...not apexi but an afc

not to sure how they work or benifit...at work with stupid server blocking nearly everything i try to view at work so cant do much research on them

so anyone used them and seen the positives or negs?...i so far think its a good mod to have

My understandings of the AFC is that it allows you to manipulate the signal coming from your airflow meter to allow you to richen or lean out your tune. I guess if you have an afm car and don't want to fork out on a programmable ecu it can be a good thing. A friend with an NA RB25 had his cylinder head shaved to bump up comp and used an AFC which worked fairly well.

on my fields afc unit it has a lean/rich light running the whole time, instead of a gauge

i think that they are good if you understand that they are no substitute for a fully aftermarket ecu
