rona is a sweet car, little heavier than a sprinter but a good size wieght, good length to width ratio,

3sgte for a gen 2 around 1600 bucks to 2200 ish for a half cut.
parts youll need, around 500 bucks.

    142 is a typo, mean 141

a 3sgte conversion for a skilled backyarder with some decent connections is will cost about 5 grand.

stanzza hasn't done anything with rona's. just put some silvia susp in and drifted them with stock running gear.

please keep the rona as we dont want another ae86 smashed by a "young person" it will do fine anyway (i've owned a ae86 and a ke70 and the rona's do just fine)

3s is a PITA but the easy way is to get an n/a 3sge and stick some carbs on it, there's a guy on toymods with this setup (and a few more things) and he's making 150hp at the wheels.

i have an rt142 at the moment with the 22r and its OK but you realy need about 150 hp at the flywheel to be able to skid it in the dry....

The 1986 Corona is basically the same chassis as all the RA60 Celicas, MA61 Supra, AA60 Carina etc... So every single passanger car motor Toyota made from 1970-1995 will fit if you get the right crossmember.

One option is to go 22R-E and turbo it.
