Out with the front windscreen, In with the rust!
Damn...
Painted interior white today.
Came up quite well, considering the scratches and dings in the rear floor.
Out with the front windscreen, In with the rust!
Damn...
Down the bottom? On that little panel thats on the inside of the window that runs the width of the car? Mine has rust there.
Your on the money.
It's pretty bad, big holes in both Left ad Right corners, then all the way along the factory spot welded seam there are big holes everywhere.
Mine doesn't
Car looks like it's coming along sweet dude.
If you need any sort of panel van cuts, there is a KE70 panel van at my work which they are about to crush. Unfortunately I don't work on Wednesday when the van came in, so they already stacked other cars on top of it and ruined the front doors before I could ask WTF they were doing.
Its still going to be crushed now, but if you get back to me quickly I might be able to save it for a little longer.
Raging party across the river tonight... Fuck me. So damn loud! I can't sleep. Might go down and play my cdj's for a bit.
So update:
Rust in the front was repaired pretty sketchy. Cut the rust out, put plates in behind, then welded it from the front.
Then Rust converter, followed by bog. A thick bitumen sort of thing was the applied on the inside of the car to seal from further rust issues.
SAnding stripped out rear hatch tomorrow! Paint on Tuesday/Wednesday!
Paint didn't happen this week
People keep fucking pushing in front of me saying they need their shit done early etc. So shit.
Bought some Japanese corolla brochures. Pretty cool, can see the trim levels etc and how many different models there are. Also bought a genuine toyota part number book which has part numbers for a few models of corolla. Looking for more books though!
