yeah green eyes, texas recently banned speed cameras, has given back money to alot of people, and has raised its speed limit on highways from 60 all day, to 70 during the day and 65 during the night.

not to mention germany, italy and a few other euros doing the same thing.

the uk is trialing getting rid of speed cameras in a few areas.

nrma relased statistics that showed the biggest cause was driver inattention, scientific studies done by volvo show that speeds below 115kph will in 99% of cases give driver inattention on highways.

Police dont actually just include speed in their speeding findings, it includes bad roads, wet roads, failure to judge other vehicles speed etc, and the number is still much lower than drugs and alcohol.

if they were really doing it for safety they could just do something like get rid of the fines, and give out community services and stuff like that, but they dont, and its so fucking obvious it shits me off.

ive got no problems at all for booze buses or anything like that, mobiles etc, but speed is just bullshit, especially when the crash statistics show that the least number of deaths occur in the high speed regions.

the shows the states that enforce the most emphasis on speed, actually have higher instances of deaths in low speed zones.

if the police were 100% right, you wouldn't be able to take them to court, the court exists for a reason.
