Ok, for those of you that don't know hear is a little walk through on how to remove the stock rear bar off your sprinter (aus spec) I assume the Jap spec ones are much the same.

You need to undo the bolts atop of the mudflaps and also take off the mud flaps(if fitted)

Now thats done pull up carpet(if you still have it) and remove the four (in total) rubber plugs

Now you will need an 19mm soket with extension to undo these as they are pretty tight, we also used a bit of leverage to help

Now you've done that there are two more, one on either side behind the trimming
Hear is a pic with the bolts removed

    Then....

Ta DA!!!! Don't forget to unplug the number plate lights.

    Then fit uber new bar

its usually best to take the tow connections out too so you dont have to struggle to remove the bar by jiggling it. the bolts for those can be accessed from under the car.

also make sure your exhaust pipe isnt hot otherwise it may melt your rear bar when trying to remove it

Slowly, carefully, and with masking tape and a pen so you can label plugs for later. You should be able to get just about everything out without cutting it up.

Patience and a wiring diagram are invaluable tools for this job. Moreso for putting the sh*t back in though.
