even my mrs had very little drama driving with ps arms on a manualised rack.... dont get the fuss?
I saw a lot of feedback from Irish guys before buying one of these racks myself...
they spoke quite highly of them even in terms of drifting...
I'd like to think Irish lads don't have bigger arms than us blokes :/

Hey Geoff, been pretty lazy since New Years but got some work done on it this weekend. All the dash and interior is back together and functioning, just need to mount the front bar, lights, grill etc, and fill the radiator.
I'm not super confident about the hydraulic thrust bearing though. The clutch pedal feel seems too soft... but I'll find out very soon haha.
I'm planning on driving it to the meet your arranging in Feb
That's great news, man the dash is a big job not to mention the wiring behind it.
I know what you mean about clutch feel. Did you fit a new pressure plate and disk?
After we changed mine I wasn't sure if it was right because it felt so light on the pedal but sure enough it grabs well, just takes more getting used to with a lightweight flywheel and super light clutch pedal.

That's re-assuring Here are some photos of the setup:
Ready to go, W58 and niteparts housing
Installed - the slack between the bearing and the plate was picked up after bleeding
Slapped together a new battery bracket:
Also got some new boots to go on after a wheel alignment. Potenzas on the front and cheapies for the rear!
Love the new wheels, this is going to such an awesome car when you're finished. How did everything turn out with the engine?
Just read through your whole build thread, nice man! You're out my way too I think.
AAAANNND, I'm stealing this idea Anything to have less clutter in the bay.

Or throw it in the bin?
Yeah, that too. But emissions shit.
Being 30 years old, I'm sure it does absolutely nothing now anyway.
