Yeah, I am going to have my hilux engineered once the conversion is done and I don't plan on running a charcoal canister, just the stock engine emitions equipment

Thanks James, will be running in the motor this week so we'll see how it goes...

    Bit of progress today.

Made some basic lower bumper bar brackets. Stock zenki ones were all bent up and didn't fit well with my resurrected kouki bar

Then put all the front end back together

She might get a wash tomorrow Would be the first time in about a year~

Front end looks very straight... I appreciate how hard that is to achieve on a 30 year old car

So nice to see a motor back in that bay.
Looking forward to catching up at the bbq andy. Your ae86 is one of the most unique ones in vic. Cant wait to go for a spin in it.
Any more planned mods in the future?

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Paul will def. catch up with you soon. I was in only in Canberra for a few days over Christmas and doing family stuff the whole time sorry. Still want that 4AG head?

Not much progress today thou After my expensive headphones broke when picking up a new fuel filter this morning, I found that someone had stolen a pair of my car stands some time over the last week or two.... My fault for leaving them out I guess....

Then found that my new thrust bearing isn't depressing the clutch in far enough to change gears while the engine is running... I think there is still air in the housing that probably cannot bled out manually. Will try bleading by hand again another day, but if the gearbox needs to come out again then I needed those car stands

On a brighter note I did manage to fix a fuel leak and am ready to take the car for a spin once I sort out the clutch.

I don't supose anyone around east Melb has one of those pressure bleeders they can help out with? Happy to pay for your time or whatever.
