    Default 1st 86

    hey guys, just got my 1st AE86 yesterday for $1200

    car was sitting around for 4-5 years befor i got it so most of the paint is faded and there is alittle rust but nothing that isnt real easy to fix, has a 4A-E in it but isnt running atm, only 2 cracks in the dash but everything else on the inside of the car is mint

    put my 15x8 rims on it just for lols, got another set of 13s that i will put on it once i get some new tyres for them

    plans for now are to try to get it running just so i have something to drive then i'm putting a 16v 4AGE in it that i was going to put in my old ke70 and painting it white befor its back on the road

    here are some pics, will take more later tonight

    Nice find!!

    someone has stuck a 4A-E sticker on your 4A-C though!

    C= Carburetter
    E= Fuel Injected

    From what i understand the 4A-E was only offered in jap? maybe USA?

    good luck with your project!

    only way to be sure is to check the build plate in the engine bay

    my first adm ae86 had a 4ae in it. its single point injection like a diesel. less power but better fuel economy than a 4ac

    says 4ac on the build plate, think they must have just put a 4ae cam cover on the car when it got a head gasket fixed

    thanks, off it comes

    Im down with those front rims. Where you get them? Would rock on an old sleeper with chrome hubcabs and painted rims/whitewalls

    there is a pic of what they look like, got them from Federal, they have welded and redrilled for 4 stud

    found another pair on the side of the road with alittle less dish, just need to get them redrilled and clear/paint them and i'll have a full set
