Yeh how did he pay 23,000 for a 250cc. Maybe you're mistaken with a higher model?
Mate just picked one up for 8,000 brand new so.. Either he got another 2 250RNINJA's with it or he got majorly ripped.
Basically he is a dipshit,
I dont know the full story with it but he paid 9 for it, got full credit through the bike shop with some outrageous interest rate. like close to 20%
they certainly took him to the cleaners

found out the whole thing last night.
total repayments with the loan from the bike shop come to around $17k.
why you would take out that loan when interest rates are so low at the moment boggles my mind.
My other mate just bought a crb250r for $1500, we rewired it in a day, got a new speedo cable and now he is cruising he streets.
interest on dealer loan ^

Wow, thats just crazy.
I would hate to think what he'd pay for a big bike.
Anyone know anything about the new cb1100r?
I think it looks porn, love the retro look. Would like to test ride one, if they are coming to Australia. I'm not even sure if this is an '09 or proposed '10 model, could not find much info, though I have not had time to search yet. Not sure on price either. I know it is still japanese, but the styling makes me tingle with nostalgia. Plus it is always fun riding something technically inferior & showing up a couple of the boys on the latest sports sleds.
I have a honda cbr250rr limited edition repsol, i do love it but a 250cc isnt really much chop, lol my ke70 can keep up with it, haha so i cant wait to get a bigger bike a gixxer would be nice, though ill have a couple of more stacks on the 250cc, learn some more life lesons, give it to the little bro and upgrade some time in the furture.
Your bike would of been repainted, Honda did not do a repsol replica cbr250RR, usually painted when they hit Aus due to damaged fairings etc. So not an 'official' limited edition.
I see places adverstising cbr250's in 'any' colour you want, they just paint it before you get it.
This is a pic of a Repsol NSR250R SP limited edition by Honda see the difference in the quality of paint lines/stickers etc.
I'm not knocking your bike, just irks me that places sell them to lads as limited editions etc...when they're not.
haha yeh i no that but there was an aus version that was an actual repsol version so ive been told, and yea any one with a MC22 can make it look like a repsol for $500 haha. any ways here,s a pic of it
I've got a 1979 Suzuki GS550. It's got bigger carbs, bored to 580ish (it's something like 576cc) and 2-1 dual pipes. It was Dad's but he hasn't ridden it in ten years so I inherited it for the princely sum of $400. It's been kept in a shed for the last ten years, but the carbs need rebuilding, it needs coils, leads, plugs and a set of rings wouldn't hurt. Some better tyres than the 15yo Avons that are on it atm would be nice too
Best thing is it's LAMS approved so when I finally get around to getting my L's I'll be able to ride it
