    nsr250 over the rs250(aprillia) anyday...

mc21, tyga tail, 05' r6 nose, some pipes (some other intake mods) and it looks the shit and will eat its rs/rgv competitors

A mate contacted the Two Stroke Shop through their web page. I think they are in Victoria somewhere. From what he mentioned, most of their customers are from overseas - diehard stroker fans who just want exotica. For all the achievements of aussie bike racers, i still don't think australia has the diehard gp fan base like the europeans to demand these types of bikes.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a vanilla specification bike they quote you on - there are infinite upgrade options, such as actual gp bike forks, brakes, shocks etc. They will pretty much bling it out to a full gp spec. Amazing that it can be registered! I would like to know the rebuild intervals though....I bet that aggressive porting takes its toll on rings.

As far as another bike for me goes - I rode an 05 zx6 a while ago, and instantly forgot about how much I loved two strokes. I liked how flexible it was, and it had pretty good legs. I'm about to pay my mate a visit again & try his new ride, an 08 R1, so I'll see how that goes.

re: the rs125 or 250 - have you got Aprilia hook ups or something? Or just private bikes to sell?

    AE86R...so simple minded newer doesn't = better

the nsr is lighter(133dry, rs is 141dry), and has more power, the mc21 with a simple wire splice and some holes in the airbox gets 60hp...add some pipes and intake mods (mine...) and you're looking 65hp. Show me an rs250 close? the rgv motors with the same mods dont come close. id guess ive knocked off a good 5-8kg's with diff pipes/tail too.

as for the r6, mate got one for a track bike so i took the nose and fitted it to my nsr, looks tits

The two stroke shop engine has nothing to do with CR250s it is basically a Yamaha RZ350 engine that has been bored and stroked with some trick bits. Still an awesome piece of kit but, and I have a spare RGV chassis at home...Oh yeah, my daily ride is a "ratted" 1994 Suzuki RF600R.
