CBR"s, Ninja's(unsure of the new one), Across' and ZZR's all have the same motors.
The Across and ZZR just have de-tuned motors, and are ugly as sin.
haha good point, the amount of times ive heard yeah but i bought the RR cause its quicker bro.

I'm riding this GSXR600 at the moment. It's not mine, I'm just running it in for a mate.
I must say it good to be back on a bike after a few years not riding. Its a great bike too. But i gotta say there is no way I'm buying a pure sports bike for my next one, it gives me a sore arse lol.
^^^ Totally agree with number 2 Dom, when I was but a young teenager I got into bikes, rode like I was a motogp star, had a few smallish offs, nothing serious but enough to hurt myself each time,
got out of it, but it's always in the blood, cars cannot compare to the acceleration of a big bore sports bike! and wheelies.....the coolest thing EVER to do!
late twenties got back into it, much wiser.
now late 30's still own a bike, love to ride but think alot about self preservation.
Funny when riding with a group of young bucks.....ego city, I hope they make it!
LOL. Sounds like were all the same.
It was the acceleration and cornering for me, wheelies make me poo!
The front would get a foot in the air and it felt like 12o'clock to me, then i'd change my dacks.lol.
The old Ninja's (zx2r's) had a 250cc 4cyl motor and where alot like the cbrs. The new ones are a parrarell twin and i haven't ridden one so i can't really comment.
The Yamaha FZR was another 250cc 4cyl that was fairly similar but was a bit doeyer at lower revs but just the same at the top end when properly tuned. They also have a longer reach to the bars. Also counter steering seems to come into play at higher speeds that anyother 250cc bike i have ever ridden.?
The Suzuki Across is serverely mechanically detuned and more of a commuter than a sports 250.
The ZZR's where a 2 cyl parrarell twin that were extremely doey all the way through the revs and more of a commuter.

I'm glad I don't have a restricted license......250's are soooo slow....even the 2 strokes.
Years ago I owned an RGV, had minor work, pipes etc best time 13.1 @ 107mph BUT it was substantially faster than a cbr250 I kept dragging that night, his best 15.1@88mph!
My younger bro's Gixer 1000 on NOS is savage
that 600 looks the goods
yeh they are a really nice bike to ride. And more than enough power for the road, untill you get used to it.....
yeah when i rode the 600 it was good though imo nothing to keep you from buyin a bigger bike.
