hey all i have a much easier way of removing it, i have used this on at least 200 cars, all you need is an air compressor and an air chisel, and presto no more deadener, to do a hachi takes me around 15-20 min once all the carpet is out, much esier than having to use ice, then just get some prepsol and a rag and clean up any of the sticky residue thats left. Air chisel costs around $20 from super cheap had mine for around 5 years and still going

i have taken a total of approx 120-130kg out of my car so far, and it still retains glass which is soon to be replaced with lexan, i installed a full cage which is approx 50kg, which leaves me with a car that weighs around 820kg, keeping in mind the things i didn't weigh stuff like the wiring and various engine bay bits and pieces which all add up. And after i install frp doors, hatch, guards etc i shoud see around 770kg i'll let you know when i'm done

hey guys i just finished removing my sound deadner, seats belt mechanisims and all the other little bits n peices. I used a hammer drill with a chizled end took fark all time. What did you guys do with those little plates that cover up lots of holes? and is this legal? it looks a little ghetto atm but once its cleaned and painted should be sweet.

my car passed inspection (NSW) with the sound deadener and carpet removed. i used a hammer and chisel to get the deadner out, which also resulted in raping the little plates but i covered them up with floor mats.
