yeah i was thinking of doing that but the stuff in back of the car weighs nothing. if ur taking that out may aswell take it all out.
front footwells weigh the most, the whole rear and middle of the car may weigh like 1-2kg if that

still 15kg is not very much, it wont increase your power to weight by a large margin. but on topic of sound deadening removal i noticed that your back seats keep more sound out than the sound deadener.....

i had done this 2 my hachi only a couple of weeks ago, i used a small crowbar and a heat gun.

warm it up just a little, u dont want it bubbling, with the crowbar u can get under and lift the whole thing off like a piece of pizza

i did the entire car and lost 37kg's! a very heavy degreaser was used afterwards to remove the residue and clean it up

37kgs? hmmm... i highly doubt it.... i did it to mine and it came up to about 10kgs (2 cardboard boxes full...one weighed 4.5kg, the other 6kg) all up... the only part i missed was the firewall part.... i doubt that weighs 27kgs... i agree with the front foot well part.... thats where most of the weight was, its about 3 times thicker than the rest...

I think most of the weight loss on the crazy 800kg jap sprinters come from the fibreglass panels/doors/hood/boot... theres easy 100kg savings there... The aus spec doors are fkn heavy.... at a guess 45kgs each...
