    i like the HAWK HP+ pads ( not HPS)

    theyre for race/autox purpose. so far theyve been good to me. noise is increased as well as disk wear. but thats expected. no clue on fade, i havent run themtoo long yet.

    Hi... i've heard good things about these pads too... Never tried them though... How are they when cold...?

    they bite very well even when cold.

    I have some DBA AE86 Slotted Rotors and EBC brake pads sitting on the floor. Hopefully will be able to get them on my car within the next 2 weeks. Will post up if I notice any difference.

    Huh? DBA? U managed to track down DBA rotors...? I tried but couldnt find any.... i ended up using RDA's... Not complaining or anything cuz the RDA's are great... just interesting that u managed to find DBA's.....

    And Yes!! please do a write up about ur experiences with the EBC pads.... the more different pads the better... afterall... we're here to share information to help the 86 comunity right...

    I work at autobarn. I phoned up DBA and got them to make them. Took approx. 3 weeks for them to do it.

    what grade EBC alan? i spoke directly to the aust wide sales rep telling him to make greens for ae86, he said he would get back to me..still waiting..he also found (at my request) a thinner pad so u can use jap vented rotors with aussie calipers...

    DBA discs? are the vented?

    Yeah, i'll post a picture up tonight. I could of got drill and slotted but I heard they wear out your pads really quick. The EBC pad was black (i think, will check when I get home) There is two type's of pads that fit in the standard calipers, but I can't remember. I'll try to remember to phone EBC tommorro and find out.

    Here is a pic of the DBA Rotors. They have the Kangaroo Paw etc. They were custom made.
