Thread: Carbon fibre dash

    I could get a friend who owns a company that makes interior bits with real carbon fibre. Would anyone be interested in have like a group buy or individual buys on such an item as this...





    I am going to get him to mock it up using my car. His work is excellent.
    Would be good for guys with cracked dashs. Something different.

    That would be terrible in sunlight, it would relflect the light off it, matt black dash is still the best way to go..
    Why hesitate when you can accelerate???

    price depending, i can get carbon bonnets for $550 plus postage, so they would wanna be less than that???

    ill be in for one of the carbon fibre bonnets, but i wont be able to afford it for a few months, i have my gze engine conversion to do first

    The clear coat can be different to stop the glare. Its no problem at all.

    Are these gonna be much lighter than the stock ae86 dashes? Cos atm they are very light!

    yeah i would like to see some of his ones maybe
    also i have a roll cage going through my dash and i was just gonna cut holes for it but maybe he could make me a dash to suit my cage?

    also i just noticed first pic has a carbon fiber dash on a auto hachi hmmm wtf lol

    Automatic is from the american rubbish.

    Sits on the original dash so its adding weight lol.
    It is too hard to make a full replacement dash.
