i've got a stocko Aus spec one and so far I have busted a headgasket, piston rings, and a uni joint. But the car has done over 300k klms and I do thrash the crap out of it. The stocko S series diff isn't happy if you put power through it either.

harmonic balancer/ timing gear key way has been known to be a weekness and has given me some issues in the past. Also the s series diffs are a bit weak, gear boxes give the most trouble with syncro's you just gotta learn how to drive them to stay out of trouble. Well thats been all my issues with mine.

have warped the head on the 4AC before dropping in the 4AGE blue top, the blue top cops a floggin at the track and doesnt even overheat or use oil. BUT

i think thier biggest weakness is the standard S series diff when locked, i have muched two of them.

my good mate (not on these forums) has blown the folowing

    - 3 4AC motors before doin a 20 V transplant.
    - 3 T-50 gearboxes
    - 1 tailshaft
    - 1 T18 diff
    - 2 S series diffs and soon to be another one.

i put all that down to his driving style, but he is changing after 1 visit to the track.
